Using the command prompt (Windows 11)
- Go to the Windows start button in the lower left.
- Right-click it and select Windows Terminal from the list.
- When given the choice between PowerShell or command prompt, choose command prompt.
- Type ipconfig and press Enter.
- Review the display. Look for the IPv4 label to find your device’s IP address.
Using the Windows Settings (Windows 11)
- Open the Windows Settings menu by pressing Windows+I on your keyboard.
- Click Network & Internet in the sidebar.
- Click Properties beside your network name.
- Scroll down to the IPv4 Address. Your IP address is listed next to it.
